Terms & Conditions —Katie Carter Tattoos

These Terms & Conditions explain how appointments, deposits, cancellations, artwork, and studio policies work at Katie Carter Tattoos. By booking with us, you agree to the terms below.

1. Appointments

All tattoo appointments must be booked in advance.

We may require a consultation before confirming a booking.

You must be 18 or over. We require valid photo ID (passport or driving licence). No exceptions.

2. Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all tattoo appointments.

Deposits contribute towards the final tattoo price.

Deposits are non-transferable unless agreed at our discretion.

If you cancel, do not show up, or arrive more than 15 minutes late, your deposit is forfeited.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

To reschedule, you must give at least 48 hours’ notice.

If less than 48 hours' notice is given, your deposit will be lost and a new one may be required.

We may reschedule your appointment if necessary, and will give as much notice as possible.

4. Pricing

Pricing is based on size, style, placement, and time.

Quotes are estimates only and may change if the design changes.

Final payment must be made on the day of the appointment via the accepted payment methods.

5. Artwork & Copyright

All artwork created by [Your Studio Name] remains the intellectual property of the artist.

Designs may not be copied, reused, or tattooed elsewhere without permission.

Reference images are welcome, but we do not copy other artists’ work.

6. Health & Safety

We follow UK hygiene standards and use single-use, sterile equipment.

If you show signs of illness (e.g., flu, fever), we may refuse service.

You must inform us of any medical conditions, skin issues, allergies, or medications before your appointment.

7. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service if:

You are under the influence of drugs or alcohol

You behave disrespectfully or aggressively

Your requested design includes hate symbols or inappropriate content

We believe the tattoo is unsafe or unsuitable for your skin/body placement

8. Aftercare

Aftercare instructions will be provided and must be followed carefully.

Once the tattoo is completed and you leave the studio, aftercare becomes your responsibility.

We are not liable for issues caused by improper aftercare.

9. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable.

They must be used within the stated expiry date.

Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

10. Photography & Social Media

We may ask to photograph your tattoo for our portfolio and social media.

If you prefer not to be photographed or posted, please tell us.

11. Liability

You accept that tattooing carries risks, including allergic reactions, infection, or scarring.

We are not liable for reactions caused by aftercare products or pre-existing skin conditions.

You consent to being tattooed at your own risk.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website or in the studio.
