Please read the FAQs and Ts and Cs below before booking in! 

Why do I need to pay a deposit? 

A deposit secures the date and time of your appointment. It also pays for any admin and prep work we have to undertake before the appointment. This includes designs, emails and small design changes. 

If you change your mind and want larger changes to the design, this will require another appointment booking. 

 

I need a touch-up, what shall I do? 

If your tattoo requires a touch up after one month of having it done please send me an email/message and a picture and we can get this booked in. After this cut off, you will have to book another appointment to get this done. 

Can I transfer my deposit? 

No, deposits cannot be transferred. Unfortunately due to the nature of the work, deposits are non-transferrable and any rescheduling will require another deposit.  

Transferring deposits between family members or friends is not allowed, again, due to the nature of the work. Our work is custom and therefore the time taken discussing and prepping a tattoo with one person will not automatically transfer onto the next.

Please make sure you're committed before booking in. 

Numbing cream, yes or no? 

Numbing cream is personal preference. All we ask is that you let us know if you are using it because it can affect the tattooing process (it often takes much longer) and the healing process. 

How old do I need to be? 

It is illegal in the UK to tattoo anyone under the age of 18. With or without parental consent. We will not do it and you should be wary of anyone willing to do so. 

Please bring valid photo ID with you as we do have the right to refuse service if we are not 100% and deposits can't be refunded so that would suck for all parties!

What shall I do to prepare? 

Make sure you have something to eat before the appointment. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks along with you. 

Remember exfoliated and moisturised skin is happy skin! SPF is important too as we will not tattoo skin if it is sunburnt. 

AVOID ALCOHOL 24 HOURS PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT.

What if I need to cancel?

If you are unable to make your appointment for whatever reason, please let us know. Even if it is only 10 minutes notice. We'd prefer 24 hours but we get it.

Katie is self employed and without any heads up that she may need to fill a slot, she loses out on her wage. 

We don't bite and we are all human, life happens, all we ask is that you give us a little heads up!

Can I bring my friends or family? 

The space Katie currently uses is small so please refrain from bringing a crowd. There is only space for the client, artist and one more person.
